Location: The cottages are situated in the natural beauty of vast pine forests between the tiny village of Lj ø rdalen and the Fulufjellet Alpinsenter. Many cottages offer a fantastic view into the valley of the Ljøra river and onto the surrounding mountains; others are nestled widespread among the lush pine forest in the valley being a perfect and romantic hideaway. The village of Ljørdalen is located about 1 - 3 km away. Here you can find two supermarkets, a gas station, the tourist information, a restaurant and a bar. The ski lifts of the Fulufjellet Alpinseter are located only between 1 - 4 km from your cottage. Cross country ski trails are available in close vicinity to your cottage.
In summertime Ljørdalen and Fulufjellet are the ideal destination for a great and active outdoor holiday and a perfect gateway to discover the breathtaking scenery and unspoilt wilderness of nearby Fulufjell National Park. Experience an environment of amazing beauty and rich diversity such as hundreds of years old primeval forests, crystal clear lakes and creeks, Sweden's highest waterfall and a unique flora and wildlife such as large populations of brown bear, lynx and moose.

Features: All cottages are furnished individually and cosy in Norwegian style.
Cottages for up to 6 guests: Size: approx. 60- 75 m² . All cottages feature 3 bedrooms with totally 6 beds (1 double / 2 bunk beds), a bathroom (shower / WC), a cosy and spacious living room including dinette and fireplace / wood burner, a fully equipped kitchenette and veranda.

Optional Activities:
In wintertime: Besides alpine and cross country skiing there is a wide range of optional activities with multilingual guides available: There are guided dog sledding tours, guided snowmobile safaris, guided tours on snowshoes and torch lit evening tours with the horse sled available. Quad bike rental at the lodge.
In summertime Ljørdalen is a great place for hiking and fishing. There are also canoeing and rafting trips on the Ljøra river, moose and beaver safaris, bear watching safaris, guided hiking and trekking tours, white water rafting and canyoning and horseback riding trips available at the nearby Villmark Lodge. A golf court, many swimming lakes and a good variety of small museums are also available in the vicinity

Meals: Self-contained cottages. Still you have the option to book a „dinner package“ at a special rate including 7x dinner (2-course-meal) at the restaurant of the nearby Villmark Lodge. Supplement: NOK 900,- per person and week.

You will receive the key to your cottage at Fulufjellet resp. your apartment (double house half) at Villmark Lodge at the
reception of the Villmark Lodge “Ljøratunet”. If the receiption should be unattended please make yourself known to the staff
at the restauarnt of Villmark Lodge „Ljøratunet“.

Within the village of Ljørdalen there are signs that will show you the way to the Villmark Lodge „Ljøratunet“ (please see chapter „Location & Getting there”). The reception resp. the restaurant at Villmark Lodge are generally open from 7 – 11 a.m. and 3 – 10 p.m. Should the reception and restaurant be closed upon your arrival, you will find your keys along with a description how to get to your cottage in an accessible post box on the right side of the main building (next to the main entrance).
