2) GENERAL TERMS & BOOKING CONDITIONS
CONTRACT PARTNER:
Your Contract Partner is Villmark Kennel Norge based in Ljørdalen / Norway.
BOOKINGS and PAYMENT:
Bookings do not require a deposit. Full payment is due 7 days prior the date of tour departure. Bookings made within the 7 days prior to departure require immediate full payment. If there has no payment been made by the time of the arrival Villmark Kennel Norge reserves the right not to transport or accommodate the customer. A minimum number of guests is only required for the dog sledding safari Kungsleden Tour. All other tours described within this product manual have guaranteed departures and will commence no matter how many guests are booked on one departure date. If the minimum number required on the Kungsleden Tour will not be reached we reserve the right to cancel the departure. In this case we will inform you latest 21 days prior the departure date.
CANCELLATION:
For cancellations made 30 days prior to departure a cancellation fee of 20 % of the tour price will occur. For cancellations made between 29 and 15 days prior to departure 25 % of the tour price will be charged. For cancellations made between 14 and 7 days prior to departure a cancellation fee of 50 % of the tour price will occur. For cancellations made between 6 and 3 days before commencement of the tour 65 % of the tour price will be charged. For cancellations less than 3 days before commencement of the tour including no shows a cancellation fee of 80 % of the tour price will be charged. This fee will offset all administrative and operational costs of handling the reservation and cancellation and will be charged regardless of the reason for the cancellation.
GENERAL:
We reserve the right to change our rates with a minimum of 4 months prior departure if these changes are the result of an increase in transportation and accommodation costs, an increase in taxes or fees for certain services or a variation in the currency exchange rates. The right is reserved to decline, to accept or retain any person as a passenger or to commence a tour if the circumstances being can influence the touring negatively especially if running the tour under these circumstances might endanger the health or the life of the passengers, the guides or the dogs. Baggage is at owners risk entirely. Passengers are advised to have to take out comprehensive travel insurance for the duration of the tour. We also suggest travel interruption insurance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
We cannot be held liable for any alterations which may occur in the timetable of services (e.g. changes in flight schedules) other than those owned and operated by Villmark Kennel Norge for any reason whatsoever. Should passengers incur additional expenses it is the responsibility of each passenger. Villmark Kennel Norge shall be exempt from all liability in respect of distension, delay, loss, damage, sickness or injury, however and by whomsoever caused and whatever kind occurring of or to the passenger at any time when the passenger is not on board the carrier of conveyance used or operated by Villmark Kennel Norge. The passage contract used by Villmark Kennel Norge shall constitute the sole contract between them and the purchaser of these tours/services and/or passengers.
All tickets, deposit tickets, coupons and orders are furnished and issued subject in all respects to those terms and conditions under which the means of transportation of other services provided thereby are offered or supplied by owners, operators, public carriers, managing agents. Villmark Kennel Norge is not liable for and denies all responsibility for personal injury or property damage arising out of these activities, whether caused by circumstances within or without control. Villmark Kennel Norge reserves the right to amend, make variations to or cancel the tours, accommodation, transport or other services and facilities advertised in this brochure/on this website out of serious reasons. Our services and our touring take place in open nature and in remote areas where unpredictable circumstances of local, technical or climatic kind can influence touring content and itineraries. Thus we reserve the right to alter the touring content and itinerary also without prior notice.
These conditions can not be varied or altered or waived by any personal providing services or facilities. Villmark Kennel Norge will not be bound by representation purported to have been made on its behalf unless they confirm or have confirmed or made representation in writing.
As the arrangement for each entire tour as specified in the itineraries represents a "COMPLETE” package of arrangements, an itemisation of costs will not be rendered.
SMOKING:
Smoking inside tourist vehicles, busses, restaurants and bars is prohibited by Norwegian Government regulation.
LEGAL BASE:
Legal base is Trysil, Norway
If any of these exclusions, in whole or part, is found to be unlawful, void or for any other reason unenforceable, that exclusion or part of the exclusion shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the other exclusion(s) or part(s) of the exclusion(s) in question.
